Notes
My tools to take notes
One of the main tasks you will have to do as a pentester, or in any other cybersecurity role, is to learn to take notes of everything you discover, the tests you perform and their results.
CherryTree
A tool that I like a lot is CherryTree. It lets you organize the content by nodes and subnodes, it's very simple to use, besides having many features.

Obsidian
Personally, I have not used it, but I know there are templates and once you get the hang of it, it works very well. In addition you can script many things to use it in a more agile way. If you are one of those who like to automate tasks and create your own scripts, I recommend it.

Notion
For me, it has been a real discovery. I used to use it to take notes about my daily life and make weekly plans (like a calendar, etc.). But I started using it to take notes while preparing for the HTB CWES, and I love it.
Once you get used to the commands for the different types of elements you can create, it's very easy to organize yourself and take notes very quickly.
Another advantage I see is that since everything is linked to your account, you can have your notes on multiple devices (both mobile and PCs).
In addition, some users have created very useful templates depending on how you use it.
