My experience

In this section, I will share my impressions of this certification, as it was the first offensive security certification I have obtained.

To be honest, I was a little unsure about taking the exam, as I didn't know what to expect. But with the INE course and its labs, I think it's quite achievable.

To be on the safe side, I prepared myself with the resources I shared with you in Preparation.

My opinion after passing this certification is that it is a good start because it provides you with a foundation for good practices when performing pentesting, as well as being entertaining.

My main recommendation during the exam is not to try to complicate things more than they are. If something seems very “easy” or simple, it really is. In my case, I tend to overthink everything, so I wasted a lot of time trying to make it more complicated than it really was.
